Derived from the rind of the orange, this citrus oil (active ingredient: d-limonene) kills drywood termites and their eggs on contact. Orange oil will not only treat the areas into which it is injected, but will penetrate deep into the surrounding wood as
well. All that remains is the scent of oranges for a few days after treatment.
Bora-Care is derived from boron, a material that is used in many household products such as “Borax Soap”. Bora-Care can be injected or applied directly to the wood. Its patented glycol formula penetrates deep into the wood. Unlike orange oil this product can be applied to hollow voids with use of a termite foamer and the residual of this product lasts indefinitely making it an excellent termite preventative treatment.
Termidor is made from a new revolutionary technology that termites can’t see, smell, taste or avoid. Instead, they contact it, ingest it, and share it with their nest-mates. It’s superior to older liquid termite controls, which rely on repellent barriers that termites can too easily avoid.
When exposed to this product, termites become lethargic and stop feeding, which leads to the eventual elimination of the drywood termite colony. Termidor also has a lengthy residual effect to protect against re-infestation.
